We understand that you might have a few questions before getting started, so we’ve created a FAQ section to help. Here, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions about our services, pricing, and what to expect when working with us.
For Salon Owners:
How much does it cost?
It's completely free to browse HairChairNow. To post an ad, it only costs $39.99 a month. Savings are available to those who prepay for 6 or 12 months. You can cancel at any time after 1 month. (see cancellation policy for terms)
Do I have to sign a contract?
No! You can list your space or job openings with no commitment. You can alter your ad any time, including changing prices, updating available space, listing additional jobs or removing jobs that have been filled. In addition, you can enjoy a discount on the monthly price by prepaying for 6 months (5% off) or 12 months (10% off) after which time you'll be charged monthly until you cancel. To repeat the discount, prepay once again.
Does HairChairNow keep part of my rent?
No. HairChairNow doesn't collect rent from your contractors or take a cut of your earnings. You collect rent directly from the salon worker, keeping 100% of what you charge. Your only cost is a simple subscription to post your ad.
Can I post a space if I work in a suite and I want to find someone to share it?
Yes. HairChairNow is the perfect place to find others that you'd like to share your space with. You get to set your terms and interview the respondents and find the person who is exactly the right fit for you.
How will interested stylists contact me?
You are contacted directly by those interested in your post. You choose how you want to be contacted and your post will contain those details and instructions. You can choose to be called, texted or emailed. All you need to do is follow our simple template to create your ad.
Can I also post commission and employment positions?
Yes! You can post commission, hourly, full or part time, even hybrid positions. You can create the ad to fit your needs.
How do I create an ad?
It's easy! Just click on "List My Space" and fill in the details of your space or job on our simple form. You'll be guided on how to upload pictures of your space. Your listing will be created for you and emailed to you for review. Just approve the ad and it will be posted. If you want to make a change, you can do that easily before you approve it, or any time, just by emailing us.
What if I have multiple salons?
You can list spaces for rent or job openings at multiple locations all under one account, making it easy to manage in one place, or, if you feel it's to your advantage, especially if they are located in different areas, you can list your locations individually.
Does HairChairNow offer support if I have an issue?
Yes! We have a support team available to help with any questions or concerns about your account or your ad.
For Stylists:
Do I have to pay to use HairChairNow?
HairChairNow is completely free to browse. The listings are visible to all and there are no logins required or information that you are required to share.
Who do I contact if I find a space I want?
You will be free to contact the salon or suite owner directly. The contact instructions will be easily found in the ad.
Can I see the space before I rent it?
Yes! You will be able to contact the salon or suite owner directly and arrange with them to visit the location.
Can I post a space if I work in a suite and I want to find someone to share it?

Do I have to commit to a long-term agreement?
There are no commitments that you would have to make to HairChairNow. The terms of rental agreements are set by salon or suite owners and you are free to contact as many of them as you like and negotiate with them directly until you find the perfect arrangement for you.
Do I have to share my personal information to use HairChairNow?
You do not! If you'd like to arrange to be notified when new ads post that fit your search, you may choose to leave your name and contact, but you are never required to do so and your information is never shared.
